Swordfish (Broadbill)

3D Broadbill Swordfish has a smooth, very broad, flattened 3D sword or broadbill that is significantly longer and wider than the 3D bill of any other 3D billfish. Adult 3D Broadbill Swordfish lack scales and 3D swordfish of all sizes lack ventral fins. The 3D Broadbill Swordfish’s back may be dark brown, bronze, dark metallic purple, grayish blue or black. The sides may be dark like the back or dusky. The 3D Broadbill Swordfish uses its 3D sword for defense and to kill or stun food such as 3D squid, dolphin, mackerel, bluefish and various other midwater and deep-sea pelagic 3D species.
