First VTR
3D model of the first VTR
The 3D VTRs -- video tape recorders -- are similar to reel-to-reel audio tapes, with large spools of multi-track magnetic tapes, from 1/2" to 2" wide by 7,000 feet long, moving at high lineal tape speed. This high speed was necessary to fit all of the black and white picture information onto the tape. So, here is the first VTR 3D model that can be used in World's First Broadcast via Videotape visualization. In fact the 3D first VTR can be used in as many different visualizations, one may need.
